the trains, then you absolutely must walk across the parking lot to Kenefick Park. Lauritzen Gardens, Omaha's botanical center, boasts 100 acres of plants, sculptures and fountains. Special events and programs are offered year-round. Lauritzen Gardens is an urban oasis of beauty and tranquility. Banquet area can accommodate from 10 to 300 guests with plenty parking available.

Kendrick Park, located adjacent to Omaha's Lauritzen Gardens botanical center (they share the same parking lot), offers up two massive old train engines for the public to examine. The engines overlook the I-80 Missouri River bridge linking Nebraska and Iowa, as well as a section of the river valley.
